A group of five Maori men gather near a Pou or totem at the Wairakei Terraces near Taupo, New Zealand so visitors can capture their picture. Each of the men in this group is adorned in typical warrior clothing with different tattoos on their faces and legs.Some of the men carry spears, while others have knives which were used in the early years when Maori people fended for themselves.Dance and music shows which the Maori people take part in can be seen at the Wairakei Terraces as each group, either men or women, make a point of sharing their culture and traditions.Maori Warriors at the Wairakei Terraces near Taupo, North Island, New Zealand.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/5.6, exposure time of 1/160 sec. on ISO 200, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 115mm.
