Situated in the south eastern region of British Columbia, Wells Gray Provincial Park is also known as the Waterfall park because of the vast number of waterfalls it encompasses. Helmcken Falls are the fourth highest falls in Canada and three times higher than Niagara Falls. During the winter months when the waterfall freezes it develops an ice cone at its base.
