I enjoy shooting sunsets especially when they are as vivid as this West Coast sunset at Willapa Bay near Tokeland in Washington, USA. The beautiful sunset colours in the sky are reflected in the tidal flats of Willapa Bay and faze from blue to orange and gradually back to a different shade of blue.To shoot sunsets you need to be in position well before sunset time to really capture the different phases. The most explosive time is generally directly after sunset, when the remaining rays of the sun are at a perfect angle to reflect in any clouds above. The West Coast of Washington is a great place for capturing sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.
