When visiting the Parc Naturel Regional de Camargue in the Provence, France don't be shocked when you look up and see a huge white stork soaring or nesting in the trees above you. The white stork is unmistakable to recognize as it has a huge white body, mostly black wings, red legs and a very long red bill.A white stork likes to breed in the open parkland in the trees, towns and villages on the tops of roofs and poles and it enjoys to feed mostly in fields and meadows. A white stork often has a very large nest which it builds on year after year and some nests have been known to grow to over six feet in diameter and ten feet in depth. While visiting the Parc Naturel Regional de Camarge in the Provence, France and you see a white stork, consider yourself lucky as they are viewed as a bird of good luck. I wouldn't necessarily run to the first casino and spend all your money but consider yourself lucky just to be able to see a white stork in its natural habitat. ... continue below the picture...
