Along the Ruta de los Almoravides in the Province of Cadiz in Andalusia, Spain, tourists stop to admire this lonely sunflower plant. A sunflower is a wild flower which thrives in the sun and this is why it seems to flourish along the roadside as the area never gets much shade and the same sunflower plant returns every year.
Single wild sunflower, Helianthus annuus, growing on the side of the road along Ruta de los Almoravides, Province of Cadiz, Andalusia (Andalucia), Spain, Europe.
