Wisps of wheat grow amongst the wildflowers that adorn a field near Puente la Reina de Jaca in Huesca, Aragon in Spain just before the sun disappears for the evening. The poppies show off their bright red colors which blend nicely with the purple borage dancing in the breeze that crosses the fields in Aragon.
Wildflowers flourish aimlessly in the wheat fields and when in full blossom they radiate the landscape. As the sunset nears the end, the poppies will close up and say goodnight to the day as well. Come morning, when the sun rears its head, then the poppies will start to open up and say hello to a new day.

... When poppies mature, they can also bloom in pink, orange and white colors but the majority around this area are red. Sunset adds another unique shade to the fields as the light adds a golden tinge to the wheat blending together beautifully with the wildflowers.
When the fields are in full blossom with wildflowers, they make a photographers day easy as each picture is just as radiant as the first. Hiking through the region near Punete la Reina de Jaca in Huesca, Aragon is magnificent when the wildflowers stand tall above the wheat fields filling the area with amazing color.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/4.0, exposure time of 1/160 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 70mm.
