Under blue skies at the Oamaru Gardens in Oamaru on the South Island of New Zealand people flock from all over to enjoy themselves at the wine and food festival. Every February, this event is held where people can get together and celebrate the day with some wine, food and entertainment.Most of the people that travel to the Oamaru wine and food festival make the journey from places like Central Otago, Christchurch and Dunedin. This festival begins around mid morning and carries on throughout the day until early evening.Music fills the air of the Oamaru gardens as stages are set up for a variety of bands. Kids entertainers are another common sight at the wine and food festival which keeps everybody happy and in good spirits.People set up tents and hand out flyers to advertise and hopefully pick up a few business deals along the way.
