Fresh snow has fallen overnight near the town of Siebenen in Switzerland, Europe creating a beautiful winter scene around Lake Waegitaler. Shoveled snow lines the sidewalks, but the new snow that moved in overnight around Siebenen, has once again covered the pathways and benches.The snow clings to the branches of the trees that hang over Lake Waegitaler as pieces of snow covered wood remain idle in the partially frozen water. The white hillsides glow in the winter scene as a mist hangs in the valleys hiding the peaks of the mountains.A walk alongside Lake Waegitaler in the early morning hours after a fresh snowfall, brings about the peacefulness of winter. A snowfall always adds to the beauty of the season, just like this winter scene near Siebenen, Switzerland.For those people who do not like the snow, Switzerland is a good place to stay away from in the winter. For snow lovers, this is one of the best holiday destinations to travel to during winter as the ski hills are incredible and many lakes are thick enough with ice to skate on. ... continue below the picture...
