Sheep are common all over the world - almost every country has at least one species of sheep that they breed and raise and this one was found at the Titirangi Bay Campground in Marlborough on the South Island of New Zealand. Sheep are the oldest domesticated animal and even in the Bible it is written that the shepherds had herds of sheep to tend to.
Sheep have a number of uses, depending what they are kept for and who is raising them. They can be used for their meat, milk, but mostly their wool. They have also played a big role in science in the past years and the first ever animal to be completely cloned was Dolly the Sheep.

Domestic sheep can be a variety of colours; this sheep clearly has a white body and an oatmeal colour fleece. They can also have a black and white fleece or completely black.
