One of the World Heritage Sites set aside by UNESCO. Gros Morne National Park is among the most spectacular of the protected heritage sites of the world. The sheer, deep sides of what was once a Fjord filled by the sea, then carved out by glaciers is a stunning sight. With its spectacular scenery, and coastal lowlands Western Brook Pond is one of my favourite world heritage sites.
