The yacht harbour or tourist harbour of Portofino in Liguria, Italy has approximately three hundred berths and over the years has welcomed celebrities from all over the world. The luxury yachts enter Portofino harbour from the Golfo del Tigullio, a wide bay covering about 28 kilometers of the Italian coastline.It is actually quicker to reach Portofino in Liguria, Spain, by boat rather than by bus or car. The road is narrow and winding and as the road is usually busy, it can take a long time. There are shuttle boats traveling back and forth to all the local ports.The 'rich and famous' yachts that berth in the Portofino harbour reflects the type of visitor who holiday in the beautiful little village of Portofino.
