Knight Inlet - Great Bear Rainforest
Traditional territory of the Da’Naxda’xw Awaetlala First Nation, British Columbia, Canada
One of the most beautiful places I visited on my journeys around the world. It was almost 35 years ago that I photographed my first grizzly bear here. It is so full with wildlife like grizzly bears, black bears, humpback whales, dolphins, bald eagles and manny different kind of sea birds. The breathtaking scenery carved by glaciers is outstanding.Today, the most famous place within Knight Inlet is Glendale Cove, home of the Knight Inlet Lodge, owned by First Nations.
I offer small, private guided sustainable family and photo tours with maximal 4 guests into Knight Inlet, you can find more infos here: Vancouver Island Photo Tours / Knight Inlet “Bears & Scenery”
