The rocks on the coastal beach of the Hudson Bay in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area in Manitoba, Canada are frozen as an Arctic Fox spends his time foraging for a morsel of food. The Arctic Fox has a coat of pure white in the winter for camouflage to protect it while foraging in the open Arctic areas. Food the Arctic Fox feeds on is a mixture which includes lemmings, voles, squirrels, birds, berries, fish and sometimes a gourmet meal of scraps of ringed seal found along the beach.
