Vancouver Island is known for its dramatic sunsets over the ocean. This picture was captured off Vancouver Island North looking strait west over Alert Bay on Cormorant Island and Vancouver Island in the background. The dramatic clouds and the sun rays were are great "add on" this evening.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, aperture of f/5.6, exposure time of 1/125 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 67mm.
