A trail of rocks lie scattered on the ground under a cloudy, stormy sky in the Bisti Wilderness Area. This is typical of the landscape of the Bisti Wilderness Area.
Large cradle like rocks lie on the ground next to rounded boulders which once lay together as one piece but now looks more like a hatched egg.
The Bisti Wilderness Area, aka Bisti Badlands, is a natural wonder where the landscape has been shaped by a series of cataclysmic events then subjected to constant weathering and erosion which has uncovered many of the rocks and formations seen today.
