Death Valley in California is classified as a hot and dry desert biome. Most of these types of desert biomes do not have any canopy plants but instead mostly ground hugging plants. Most rainfall in this type of desert is also very low or concentrated.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1DS, aperture of f/10.0, exposure time of 1/250 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 35mm.
