The rock cliffs of Elephant Hill in Canyonlands National Park in Utah, USA are made up of Cedar Mesa Sandstone which gives the area its beautiful colors. Put these rock formations together with some spindly trees and a few areas of greenery and you have a location of beautiful desert scenery.In Canyonlands National Park there are a vast number of hiking trails where you can go for a short hike, a day hike or backpacking journey to investigate all the wonders of places like Elephant Hill. If backpacking for an overnight excursion you must obtain a permit and be well prepared as some areas are quite remote.Try your skills at off roading and enjoy a day of thrill and excitement as Elephant Hill in Canyonlands Park in Utah is a fantastic place for 4x4's.
