The La Sal Mountains is the second highest mountain range in Utah, USA displaying 6 astounding peaks overlooking the Canyonlands National Park with the highest reaching over 12,000 feet. These great mountains are adorned with thick forests, snow covered tops in the winter and many small lakes are found throughout these peaks.Excellent hiking, biking and horseback riding trails are enjoyed by many tourists in the summer months and then used for skiing and snowmobiling in the winter months.
