With a broad view of the Gulf of St Lawrence, Green Point is situated 12 km north of the town of Rocky Harbour on the Great Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland.
The site of an active seasonal fishing area, Green Point is also the site of a national park campground which offers campers' stupendous views of the gulf and the rocky shores of the beach itself. The large rounded boulders of Green Point provide a great platform from which to watch the sunset, and always draws a crowd to the beach.
