Noted as the largest museum throughout the Czech Republic, this historic building is home to the Czech National Museum in the downtown area of Prague, which shows off its beautiful architecture as the sunlight glistens off the facade. Founded in 1818, there are close to 14 million items on exhibit in the museum from various areas such as natural history, history, arts, music and librarianship which are spread out in ten different buildings.The main building of the National Museum is the dominant landmark in Wenceslas Square where permanent exhibits are on display while others are switched up regularly.
