The Cave and Basin National Historic Site, considered the birthplace of Canada's National park system, is one of the hot springs located on Sulphur Mountain. They are natural thermal springs around which the park system was established in 1885. The warm water could be found both inside and outside the cave, but this photo shows the inside of the Cave and Basin site, with a shaft of light just coming through the roof to hit the intense blue water below.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, aperture of f/9.0, exposure time of 8/1 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 14mm.
