Mount Sarbach is 3155 metres high or 10351 feet high and can be seen from the Mistaya River off the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Banff National Park forms part of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and so is protected from any development that could damage the landscape.

Mistaya River is a river that flows through the Canadian Rockies and the Icefields Parkway provides the access point to the trail that leads to it. It is also a popular hiking area in both the summer and the winter.
