The face of this historic building known as the Oceanographic Museum stands 279 feet above the sea in Monaco Ville, France. This world famous museum was started in 1910 by Prince Albert I and in 1957 Jacques Cousteau began as the director.
This museum of marine sciences in Monaco Ville is home to over 4000 species of fish and a variety of different sea animal families. There is exhibits of sea creatures in either skeleton form or ones that have been stuffed as well as models of ships and craftware.
Monaco Ville is one of four districts in Monaco, France and is a small quaint town with a history of character and some outstanding tourist attractions.
