In downtown Vienna, Austria the celebrations are endless for the 250th anniversary of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The season is filled with reminders of Mozart and this man dressed in costume outside the Albertina Museum is just the beginning of what there was to see.A Mozart gala concert, street parties where wine is available and a massive birthday cake were just a few of the attractions for the festive season. All the shops and market stalls carry Mozart memorabilia and on the hour that Mozart was born, bells chime throughout the downtown area of Vienna, Austria. Special yogurt, drinks and perfume are just a few of the items that are all named in the honour of Mozart and the special season.Tours were available that people could go on to see some of the favorite restaurants and places that Mozart spent time at. ... Many locals of Vienna, Austria find the season a little far fetched and out of control while others truly enjoy all the celebrations and even dress the part.
