From the North Taranaki Bight in NZ, the sky over New Plymouth looks like a ball of fire at sunset as the sun hides behind a strip of clouds. New Plymouth is located in the Taranaki region of NZ and you can watch an amazing sunset on plenty of occasions in the summer.
The view from North Taranaki Bight is also an added attraction as you can see for miles past New Plymouth out over the horizon.
New Plymouth is the port and main city in the Taranaki area on the west coast of the North Island of NZ and is a service center for the region's principal economics. As New Plymouth is located along the water's edge, you do not have to travel far to see the sky turn incredible colors at sunset.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/18.0, exposure time of 1/8 sec. on ISO 50, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 400mm.
