The Okanagan Valley has a semi-arid desert landscape. Being northern means having long growing days in which temperatures can reach up to 40 degrees Celsius or 104 degrees Fahrenheit with cool nights.
Since the land is semi-arid desert, the amount of water contained in the grapes is less and the fruit is smaller with more natually concentrated flavour. The Okanagan Valley is the ideal location for growing grapes and with a beautiful landscape to boot.
