The prairies always fascinated me, especially the light and the colors. This panorama picture shows a colorful pink full moon rise above a huge wheat field in the deep prairie of Saskatchewan. The trees in the background are used to separate wheat fields and to break the often very strong wind.

This panorama photo was originally photographed on Fuji Velvia film with a Fuji 617 panorama camera in the format 6x17cm, the it was scanned with the Hasselblad Flextight X5 scanner (former Imacon).
