The healing qualities of the pool at the Cave and Basin National Historic Site in Banff, Canada was widely known by the late 1800's and drew visitors from afar seeking to ease the symptoms of their ailments.
In the 1990's, the pool which was extensively used for swimming and soaking, was converted to a reflection pool.
At the far end of the reflection pool is a replica of the original bathhouse which was built in 1887.
