From British Columbia and Alberta, Canada in the north, south through several states in the USA, the Rocky Mountains stretch for more than 4,800 kilometres. This stunning mountain range is one of stupendous year-round scenery, and varied wildlife.
Canada's claim to the Rocky Mountains include several national parks and numerous Provincial Parks which offer visitors endless recreational opportunities. Banff National Park and Jasper National Park are among the most well known however, no less spectacular are Kootenay, Waterton Lakes, and Yoho National Parks.
