The tour around the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, Ontario consists of over six million items which relate to world cultures and natural history. Some of the galleries in the museum are the World Culture Galleries, Natural History Galleries, Hands-on Galleries and Exhibitions Spaces with many other permanent galleries and exhibits which change on a regular basis.
The Royal Ontario Museum was first opened on March 19th, 1914 and the people of Toronto were extremely proud of this creation. Over the years, the museum has expanded considerably and in 1968, the Royal Ontario Museum became its own entity run by the Provincial Government. Major renovations up to $55 million began and to this day, the museum is still growing and being filled with more amazing exhibits.
