Castle Butte, a formation found in the Big Muddy Badlands, rises 70 metres (230 feet) from the flat but scenic prairie landscape. A butte is a hill that rises abruptly from the surrounding region; has a flat top and sloping sides.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, aperture of f/8.0, exposure time of 1/0.4 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 14mm.
