With this photo of a dark black scenic road, leading towards the freshly snowed on Spring Mountains near Red Rock Canyon in Nevada, I kick off a new series of so far unpublished pictures from a short trip to the Southwest of the USA.

The states along the Southwest and Northwest of the US always attracted me, I have done a lot of work there, especially in the earlier days of my carrier. It has been a long time (too long) before I finally had a chance again to visit this area. The whole trip only lasted 2 weeks, much to short for this beautiful area but I could combine the trip with a calendar project so I was happy just to be there.
