Another day draws to a close as a dramatic sunset is filtered by the clouds over South Bay along the Kaikoura Coast of New Zealand.
The lookout point along Shakespeare Road affords stunning views of South Bay, the town of Kaikoura, Kaikoura Mountain Range and of course the stunning Kaikoura Coast with the Pacific Ocean lapping at its shores.
On top of the spectacular scenic views, the lookout is also a great place to be during sunset as it lights up the Kaikoura landscape or the clouds allow a slither of light through to form a ray over South Bay.
Kaikoura is a popular year round vacation destination on the East Coast of the South Island of New Zealand, and is famous for being the best place to see giant Sperm Whales.
