The golden glow of sunset lights up the top of Dolomite Peak, a mountain in the Rocky Mountains along the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.
Named so for its likeness to the Dolomite Range in the Alps of Italy, Dolomite Peak, shown in this picture as the sunlit peaks contrast against the fresh snow, is a beautiful mountain which is popular with climbers.
These mountain peaks are easily spotted while driving the Icefields Parkway in the Canadian Rocky Mountains of Alberta as they are close to the road. As the sun sets in the rockies, the sunlit peaks glow a beautiful golden yellow colour.
