Driving along Interstate 395 at sunset, amid the Mojave Desert can be one of the prettiest sights.At sunset, the evening cloud formations start to move in and take over the clear sky above the Mojave Desert in California. The pink hues over the mountain ridges and the darker blue shades coincide to create the perfect opportunity for a picture.The arid region of the Mojave Desert covers an area of approximately 25,000 square miles where a very sparse variety of vegetation grows. The rainfall is less than six inches a year and the summer heat on the desert can reach up to 120 degrees farenheit.
