Already a scenic masterpiece and geological treasure trove which features ancient mountain ranges, babbling brooks, and lakes - Gros National Park on the Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland also offers visitors dramatic coastal scenery and a variety of ways to enjoy it.
In particular from the shores or restaurants in the town of Rocky Harbour, visitors can enjoy stupendous views of the gulf and Bonne Bay as the sun sinks towards the horizon at sunset providing a fiery background to the silhouetted lighthouse on Lobster Cove Head.
