The Esplanade Riel is a bridge that links downtown Winnipeg with St Boniface. The bridge was completed and opened to pedestrian traffic in 2003.
Running parallel to the Provencher Bridge which spans the Red River, Esplanade Riel gives foot traffic easier access between Winnipeg and St Boniface. A restaurant is housed in the semi-circular plaza on the bridge.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, aperture of f/6.3, exposure time of 1/250 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 70mm.
