First Nations Pictures
Selection of First Nations pictures, photos and photo galleries, photographed by professional photographer Rolf Hicker. (There are 75 photos in this photo gallery.)
Throughout Canada and the US the First Nations and Native American Indian culture is evident.
Both well known for their native art, carving is one of the most visible forms of their art. Intricately carved and painted totem poles, paddles, rattles, and masks depict the legends passed on through generations.
Many communities are adorned with their tribal art, and at gatherings dancers perform to tell stories often using masks and button blankets in their elaborate displays. Here you find a selection of Native American and First Nations Pictures.
