Johnston Canyon is situated along the Bow Valley Parkway in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada and is one of the most popular hiking trails in the park.
As a year round destination, the canyon features limestone formations and potholes formed by nature over time. Eventually the trail leads to the lower then upper falls, the upper falls being a popular ice climbing site during the winter freeze.
