The white granite of the Alberta Temple in Cardston, Southern Alberta glistens in the sunlight as the perfectly manicured grounds show their beauty as colorful tulips blossom in the gardens. The architecture of the Alberta Temple was made by placing each stone in place in an octagon design which dates back to the 1900's, this being the first temple of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints to be built throughout Canada.The grounds of the Alberta Temple covers approximately 10 acres with the floor space of the building using up approximately 88,600 feet.
