The Pointe-a-Calliere Montreal Museum of Archaeology and History located in Old Montreal, Quebec in Canada takes people on an interesting excursion of past centuries. There are six buildings that make up the museum with the entrance being at the architectural masterpiece of the Eperon building. Inside there is a reception area, a theatre, a restaurant and an exhibit which displays the theme of "Where Montreal was Born".Next, there is an outside area called the Place Royale where visitors can enjoy shows, concerts and an outdoor market. Beneath Place Royale is the archaeological crypt which joins some of the buildings where you can see archaeological remains and artifacts.Following is a building known as the Ancienne-Douanne that was designed and built in 1836 and 1837 that was once home to the Old Custom House.
