A well formed track leading from the famous Cape Reinga, near the northern most point of New Zealand, follows the West Coast around rocky bluffs to Te Werahi Beach. Giving the illusion of a small curving bay, Te Werahi Beach is actually a 3 kilometre long stretch of sandy beach which takes nearly an hour to walk.
Situated at the top of the North Island of New Zealand and facing the Tasman Sea to the West, Te Werahi Beach is a stunning sight during sunset - especially given its western aspect.
This overview of Te Werahi Beach can be seen at Cape Reinga.
