During the winter one of the most beautiful things that you can see is a glorious sunset, filled with all kinds of different colours with the sun's rays bouncing off the snow and buildings and giving the city skyline, such as the one in Calgary a fresh new look. city of Calgary is a city situated in the Canadian Province of Alberta and is known for having some harsh winters, with some temperatures getting down so low that it becomes even difficult to go outside. However early in the winter season when the snow is just lightly dusting the ground the winter sun is still strong in the sky and as it sets on another night the strong sunset colours dance across the winter sky.
The Calgary Tower, ... continue below the picture...
... which is one of the structures that can be seen in this city skyline view, is a famous landmark in the city of Calgary and can be seen for miles around. It is a free standing structure that is 191 metres tall, and people can climb to the top of it and look out over the city and towards the Rocky Mountains.
The Centre Street Bridge, which spans the Bow River in Calgary, connects Riverfront Avenue with Memorial Drive and is a double level bridge, so the top part stretches right in to the community of Crescent Heights. This bridge makes commuting in Calgary easier as it provides an easy route in and out of the city.
