The Museo dell'Opera del Duomo in the city of Siena, Tuscany, in Italy, is housed in the incomplete nave of the 'new cathedral' which, due to many reasons, was never finished.
The outstanding works of art such as the large, round stained glass window and the fine statues, who all appear to be reverently bowing their heads are just a few of the masterpieces to be seen at this Siena Museo dell'Opera.
This museum is used to house the statues and sculptures which were removed from the doors and niches of the Duomo group. Between the years of 1998 to 2000, the museum was totally rearranged and the artwork displayed around the museum is incredible. The crowds are not overwhelming and tourists can easily admire the entire Museo Dell'Opera Del Duomo with ease.
