A dream travel destination whether you're looking for a summer or winter getaway, Waterton Lakes National Park is among the most beautiful and scenic locations in the Rocky Mountains.
The village of Waterton Lakes National Park has a large number of hotels and accommodations including the historic Prince of Wales Hotel (built in 1927) which is perched up on a hill overlooking both Middle and Upper Waterton Lakes. Although the Prince of Wales Hotel is closed during the winter, there are many others which remain open year round making this scenic national park a prime winter destination.
